Kree-ations!

I need to make it perfectly clear to all customers that I am a human being - an Aussie wife and mum trying to learn about small business.  My business is completely run my me - sewing, website, e-mails, ordering, shipping etc.

I also sell some of my own pre-loved items on Monkeys Undies.  These items are in no way part of Kree-ations and should not be considered as such.  They are sold by an individual trying to raise a few dollars to purchase new (often pre-loved) clothes and shoes for both myself and my daughter.

I try very hard to ensure that all my advertisments are accurate and customer service is excellent.  Sometimes, I will make an error.  I hope that in the unlikely event that I make an error, my customer will be understanding.

I would like to make it well-known that the free patterns featured on this site take a lot of TIME and some resources to develop.  I offer them as a courtesy as I know there are other people out there suffering financially and I like to help people.  If you can't play nice and by my rules, please do not use my patterns!

It is extremely difficult to fit Baby Born dolls because of the hard plastic bodies.  Buying patterns for this doll can be very expensive and they are difficult to come by.  I now have another website devoted to the doll patterns.  There is a membership fee to use this site, but you get all the patterns on it for the length of the membership you purchase (monthy/yearly/life-time).  Past free patterns are available on this site.

Whether you have purchased the pattern or using one of the free patterns (whether current or not), the patterns are only for personal use.  You may give the finished products as gifts or to charities that distribute the items to needy people but UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES are the patterns to be copied and given out/sold.

If you would like to sell items (including the Baby Born doll clothes) made using my patterns, I would appreciate if you would ask my permission.  Mostly it will be granted.

Note that the patterns that I have devised are my own and are protected under copyright.  I offer the occaisional free pattern as I know that there are others out there who struggle financially also.  It is also impossible to find reasonably priced patterns for Baby Born dolls and that is because of people who cheat and use other people's patterns incorrectly and so the price must go up.

Free Patterns on Monkeys Undies:  Due to the lack of feedback recieved by customers on Monkeys Undies for free patterns, I am not offering them anymore.

Courtesy:  Plain courtesy for the freebies is to put in a forum post (forum>Customers' Say>Free Patterns) and if you can add a pic, that would be great.  It would be nice to see that the patterns are being used and appreciated.  (note: there are some problems with adding pics to forum posts.  I am happy to add pics to the photo album and you can refer them.  Please send pics to kree-ations@live.com.au and post on the forum for the text part).

Communication:  I am now only going online 2 or 3 times per week.  I will endeavour to respond to e-mails promptly, but it may be a few days.  I appologise in advance if this happens to you.  In the case of rude, absive or offensive e-mails from customers, any service will be cut immediately and that customer will be blacklisted for future purchases.  I do not tolerate this sort of behaviour.

Payment:  Payment must be made in full within 5 working days of purchase unless prior arrangements have been made. 

Payment options:  I accept internet transfer, direct bank deposit or PayPal (see below).  I cannot accept credit cards unless through PayPal - (see Forum>Hints & Tips>General>Credit Cards).  See Pickups for more info on cash in hand

PayPal:  My online store is PayPal only, but I am happy for you to purchase items through Monkeys Undies or directly to use another payment method.  A surcharge of 5% is required on all PayPal transactions including any postage and handling fees.  For example, your item cost you $5.50 and p/h was $4.50 making a total transaction cost of $10 which you will be required to add 50c (5% total cost) to your payment.  NO EXCEPTIONS!

Postage: Please contact me for next posting day.  Payment must be received before I will send items.   I try to post quickly after payment but it may be a few days before I can.

Monkeys Undies sales:  Please leave positive feedback for items purchased on Monkeys Undies when you recieve them.  I will leave feedback for you within a few days.  It is my policy that buyer leaves first feedback (even when I am the buyer).  I will mark your item as paid/shipped as appropriate.  I do not have time to send individual e-mails to buyers.  Please check your Monkeys Undies account to see status.

Condition of my home: my home is smoke-free.  I have both dog and cat.  Hand crafted items are created in a built-in shed outside of the main home where the dog and cat do not enter but I cannot guarrantee there will be no pet hair.

Pickups:  I do not have the funds to pay for insurance to allow pickups from my home.  If you really want to pickup items, we may be able to work something out to meet at a public place.  All pickups may be paid via payment options above or cash in hand (correct amount please as I don't carry cash on my as a general rule). 

Refunds:  Refunds  on the purchase price only are available ONLY for new handmade items if found faulty and returned in the same condition as it was sent.  Postage for return is at customer's expense.  Absolutely no refunds for discounted items as they are sold as is (including Baby Mac suits as they are already discounted).  No refunds for Shewee products due to health reasons even if unused.

Returns:  Postage for returns is at customer's expense.

Exchanges:  If you have purchased the wrong size or you don't like the colour you chose, you may send them back with the appropriate postal satchel for an exchange.  All postage costs are payable by the customer in this case.  Exchange items must be returned in same condition they were sent.  They must not be used, soiled in any way or washed.

Exceptions: 

• In the unlikely event that I have sent you the wrong item or it has manfacturing flaws, I will offer an exchange at my own expense including shipping. 
• I will re-imburse you the shipping cost you incur with a Kree-ations' handcrafted item with the correct item.  Handcrafted item will be equal to or greater in value to shipping cost appropriate for item.  Note: please be diligent in sending items as I will count the cost on the basis of postage costs needed for the item, not necessarily what was paid.  EG:  If the item is appropriate for a 500g satchel, but the items was returned in a 3kg satchel, the re-imbursment item will be for the cost of the 500g satchel. 
• If the item is sent back and it is discovered that the item is infact correct or there are no manfacturing flaws, you will be re-imbursed the cost of the item only and postage costs to return will be bourne of the buyer as per above.
• Items must be sent back in the condition it was sent to customer - it must not be washed or used or soiled in any way.

Photos of items:  Sometimes pics may differ in colour slightly between actual item and pic.  This cannot be helped.  I am a lousy photographer and the colours sometimes look different when on a computer screen than on the camera screen.  Purple is a particularly difficult colour to get right. 

Pickups:  No problem if the items are pre-loved

Refunds, Returns & Exchanges:  Sorry - absolutely no refunds, returns or exchanges on pre-loved items.  This includes items which are new with tags or new without tags.  I do my absolute best to advertise my items as true as possible.  These items are sold as is.

• Winners are chosen by the method noted in the competition advertisment. 
• You must be a current member of Kree-ations - Tot's Bots & Mummy Stuff to enter any Kree-ations competition.
• You must remain a member of Kree-ations - Tot's Bots & Mummy Stuff for the duration of the competition to enter.  If you unsubscribe during the competition period, you will forfeit any entries you have earned
• Winners will be announced on the site and by e-mail.  Winners are required to e-mail me with postage details within a reasonable timeframe.
• Winner/s agree to be featured in the Competitions area of the site.  A photo is not compulsory but would be wonderful!  Winners are required to write a short speel for the article.
• Postage within Australia is covered for prize winners.  Overseas winners will be required to make up the difference in Australian dollars.
• Winners may purchase other products to be posted with the prize and take advantage of a postage discount
• If a choice in prize/s is offered (for example: colour), choices are limited to stock availability.
• Gift vouchers are redeemable only for Kree-ations hand-crafted products such as nappies and cloth menstrual pads. 
• In the event that a gift voucher is offered by another company, you are required to settle the prize with that other company
• Prizes are transferrable to other Kree-ations members, but if divided postage is required, the difference must be paid for by the winner.
• Prizes are not redeemable for cash.

I want to clearly state that the forums are a way for us all to share useful information.  There is nothing more annoying with a forum than to go into it and have to wade through personal conversations and probably give up just before the information you need comes up.

PLEASE keep forum comments to helpful advise, hints, tips, recipes, birth announcements and experiences.

Note also that this site, including the forums, are able to be viewed by anybody including children.  Please keep all posts G-rated and free of anything which may offend others.  Please no slander, foul language, bigotry, racism or otherwise hurtful posts.  Be positive, encourage others and respect their opinions.
